Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information TidyNext processes and how it may be handled.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the TidyNext mobile app and this supporting website. TidyNext is the public name of the service and is operated by the person or entity identified as the app’s seller on the applicable app marketplace (the “Developer”). In this policy, “TidyNext,” “we,” and “our” refer to the service and the Developer. TidyNext helps people create small cleaning and organizing steps from a photo of a room.

Questions about this policy or the handling of your information can be sent to tidynext@gmail.com.

2. Information the app processes

Depending on how you use TidyNext, the app may process room photos, AI-generated plans and visual goals, your progress and preferences, limited device or technical information, and information you provide when requesting support. Some information may remain only on your device, while room photos and related instructions may be transmitted to a remote AI service.

Room photos

When you choose or take a room photo, TidyNext may transmit the image for AI analysis. Photos may reveal personal details about you or other people. Before submitting a photo, remove or obscure faces, children, addresses, documents, screens, security details, valuables, and other sensitive information. See How your photos are used for a shorter explanation.

AI processing

TidyNext sends a selected image and related request data through Cloudflare AI Gateway to OpenAI so the app can identify visible objects, clutter, surfaces, and possible cleaning or organizing actions. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. The OpenAI project used by TidyNext has not opted in to data sharing for model improvement.

AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed using your own judgment.

Locally stored plans and progress

The app stores generated plans, progress, preferences, and selected or generated images locally on your device after a plan is created. Local data remains until you delete the saved room through the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app, subject to your device and backup behavior.

Device and technical information

Cloudflare and OpenAI may process limited technical and operational information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot AI requests, such as request time, model, token counts, status code, cost, duration, and network information. TidyNext does not include a product analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. Release builds do not send app diagnostic events. Debug builds may print payload-free operation status and timing to the developer console.

Support communications

If you contact us, we process the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, and description of the issue. We use it to respond to your request and retain it only as long as reasonably needed for support, recordkeeping, security, or legal obligations. Do not send sensitive room photos, identification documents, addresses, financial information, or medical records.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to:

  • analyze a selected room photo and generate a room-specific plan;
  • create an optional illustrative visual goal;
  • save and display plans, preferences, and progress on your device;
  • operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the app;
  • respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests; and
  • meet legal obligations or protect users and the service where required.

4. Service providers

TidyNext uses Cloudflare AI Gateway to route AI requests and OpenAI to analyze images, generate plans, create optional visual goals, adjust plans, and review visible progress. Cloudflare and OpenAI act under their own service terms and privacy policies and may process information in locations different from your own.

We require service providers that process user information on our behalf to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy and required by applicable law.

5. Data retention

Saved rooms remain in the app’s local documents storage until you delete them, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app, subject to your device and backup behavior. Temporary image files may remain in operating-system-managed cache storage until the operating system removes them.

Every AI Gateway request disables payload logging and skips Gateway caching. Cloudflare may still retain non-payload operational metadata, such as model, token counts, status code, cost, and duration, according to the Gateway account settings and Cloudflare’s terms.

OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, and may retain them longer where required for legal, safety, or security reasons. TidyNext does not use OpenAI’s optional data-sharing program for model improvement.

OpenAI states that image and file inputs are scanned for potential child sexual abuse material (CSAM). If its classifier detects potential CSAM, the image may be retained for manual review, including when stricter data-retention controls apply.

6. Photo deletion

Deleting a room from My Plans recursively removes that room’s archived Before photo, real After photo, AI visual goal, plan, progress, and related metadata from TidyNext’s local storage on that device. It does not recall information already processed by Cloudflare or OpenAI and may not remove copies contained in device backups or operating-system-managed temporary storage.

Because this version has no user accounts and AI requests are not linked to an in-app identity, we may not be able to identify a particular remote request. You may nevertheless email tidynext@gmail.com with the approximate request date, time, and time zone. We will assess the request and work with the relevant provider where identification and deletion are reasonably possible.

7. Your choices and rights

You can choose not to submit a photo, stop using an AI feature, replace an After photo, change camera and photo-library permissions in device settings, delete saved rooms from My Plans, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Device permission settings may affect app features.

To ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, email tidynext@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to understand or verify the request. Some requests may be limited where we cannot identify the relevant data or where retention is required by law.

8. International processing

Cloudflare and OpenAI operate internationally. Information may therefore be processed in countries or regions other than where you live, and those locations may have different data-protection rules. Their processing is governed by their service terms, privacy policies, and applicable transfer mechanisms.

9. Data security

TidyNext uses reasonable technical safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS transmission and request controls that disable AI Gateway payload logging and caching. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and this policy does not promise absolute security or end-to-end encryption.

10. Children’s privacy

TidyNext is a general-audience organizational tool, does not use age verification, and is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use TidyNext. If you are 13 or older but under the age of legal majority where you live, use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Do not submit photos showing children or their personal information.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information, email tidynext@gmail.com so we can review the report and take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Additional notice may be provided when appropriate.

12. Contact information

For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, contact TidyNext at tidynext@gmail.com. Include enough non-sensitive information for us to understand your request. Do not attach room photos or identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are necessary.
